Officers and Board of Directors
Four officers (President, Vice-president, Secretary, and Treasurer) are elected for one year terms. According to the By-Laws, they may not be reelected to the same office two years in a row. There are three Directors at large elected for one year terms (may be reelected) and four immediate past officers are members of the Board of Directors.

Activities
As a volunteer organization, activities will vary as the interests of the membership vary, but traditionally include Club meetings, usually with guest speakers, a Club banquet meeting in December, Field Day -- conducted now at Burbank School on Allen in Altadena, a picnic in late summer, and occasional building projects. Some highlights from the Club's history include the first Amateur Radio Station to ride in a float in the Tournament of Roses Parade and the Special Event Station fielded in honor of the re-opening of the Colorado Street Bridge over the Arroyo Seco.

Education
The Club supports Classes in preparation for the Technician examinations, currently offered once a year. For dates and times, call Mark Seigel (W6MES) @ 818 951-6369 or ad6kp@arrl.net.   ARRL VE examination sessions are held at the end of each class sequence, and at other times during the year as needed. The following Club members have volunteered to be available as "Elmers" to help fellow members with problems and questions relating to Ham Radio and Computers:
Phil Barnes-Roberts  WA6DZS

(626) 794-4744 Radio installations, VHF, packet, APRS
Mark Seigel  W6MES
(818) 951-6369 ad6kp@arrl.net Kit building, net control, packet

Public Service

In addition, club members are active in Los Angeles County Disaster Communication Service, Amateur Radio Emergency Services, Los Angeles Section,  and in the Pasadena Emergency Communications Group.

Members-only eGroup
The Club also has a members-only e-mail list, that allows us to get the word out quickly to those who might not be on 2M-FM every day, and pass on interesting juicy bits to the rest of the group.  Point your e-mail program to- mailto:PRC-Club-subscribe@yahoogroups.com -and send a (blank) message, and if you are a current, paid-up member, you will soon get a confirmation message back from the moderator(s), Phil WA6DZS or Michael KK6WO.  There's no SPAM, and there's a Website to post pictures, files, whatever you want to share with your Club.  It is currently set up to send meeting reminders, and if it gets to be too much traffic, you can set it for daily digests, or  Web-only access, and just go to the Website when you want to see what's been posted lately.
