As a volunteer organization, activities will vary as the interests of the membership vary, but traditionally include Club meetings, usually with guest speakers, a Club banquet meeting in December, Field Day, a picnic in late summer, and occasional building projects. Some highlights from the Club's history include the first Amateur Radio Station to ride in a float in the Tournament of Roses Parade and the Special Event Station fielded in honor of the re-opening of the Colorado Street Bridge over the Arroyo Seco.

The Club provides communications for a variety of events, among which have numbered the AIDS Service Center Posada, the Angeles Crest 100 Mile Race, the Super Cities MS Walk, the Pasadena Senior Olympics, the CROP Walk for Hunger, the Bowl to Bowl Seniors walk, and the La Cañada Flintridge Fiesta Days Family Bike Ride for Pride, the diabetes walk. In addition, club members are active in Los Angeles County Disaster Communication Service, Amateur Radio Emergency Services, Los Angeles Section, and in the Pasadena Emergency Communications Group.
