Here's a nice picture of me with a friend

Ok, so this isn't a current
picture of me and my wife.
It is, in fact, a picture taken
in 1948.  I no longer have
any of the things shown here,
including the wife.  We were
divorced in 1964 but remain
friends.

But it was my meager ham shack in those
days. Was my receiver a surplus military BC 348?
I'm sure someone can tell me as I don't remember.
And I'm embarrassed to say I don't recall what
I was using to transmit with.  There is a mike there
even though I think I was using    more than
voice.  One thing I certainly do remember though
and that is building the power supply.

Come on, give me a break.   That was over 50 years go!

Later I obtained an AT-18.  That is something I wish I still owned.
You can take a look at an AT-17 by clicking on a terrific site of currently
owned and operated vintage equipment that belongs to Bill Smith, a member
of our Marin Amateur Radio Club.

I am also webguy for qsl.net/w6sg  Naturally,
I think w6sg is a good looking page. Give it a click!

In addition I have my own guitar teaching page
noel's Gittips  (get it?...I teach the
              stuff)

Yes, this is the same guy as above.  It's amazing how much different things
 look in color.

This page needs a lot of work.  Check back after March 1st and see
if any progress has been made.
