The East Bay Amateur Radio Club (EBARC) in Richmond, California was founded in 1947 by a group of local amateur radio operators.

While our purpose is mainly social, club members provide a variety of services to the community including:

• Helping new operators get on the air with HF and UHF/VHF
• Activating special event and POTA stations
• Providing emergency communications services
• Providing radio communications for public events (e.g., walk-a-thons)

We welcome both licensed ham operators and the general public to become club members and to participate in our monthly meetings and other club activities.
