The New Orleans VHF Club operates a number of VHF and UHF repeaters in the metro area.

The Westside Amateur Radio Club is a general interest club, primarily (but not exclusively) serving hams on the west bank of the Mississippi River.

The Jefferson Amateur Radio Club, another general interest group, draws its membership largely from the east bank of Jefferson Parish.
