My wife Nona and I enjoy driving far out into the country on nice clear nights to set up our deep space 8 inch telescope. I do have the equipment for astro photography but have not gotten into that part of it. We also enjoy raising our cats which consists of a Maine Coon, Abbysinian and two Bengals. The Bengals are the most exotic and we are soon going to breed them as our two have been bred from SGC " Super Grand Champion " parents. We also have a male and female Umbrella Cockatoo that we raised from the egg 10 years ago. I also enjoy backpacking and in 1997 I spent 44 days on the Appalachian Trail and covered over 300+ miles. I started in Springer Mountain Georgia and finished in Hot Springs, North Carolina. 50,000+ internet users followed my journey daily as I sent back letters to my sister to be posted on www.trailplace.com I did take along a dual band HT and found it very useful for local information.
