Tuesday, June 22, 1999 a mock storm named "PANDORA" will be part of a
National Hurricane Drill. The event goes from nine a.m. to noon, CDT(1400-1700 UTC).
Participants for this mock storm include:
Amateur operators at the National Hurricane Center
All Gulf Coast NWS offices
Gulf Coast NASA centers
State and Local Agencies
We invite and encouraged Gulf Coast Industrial Plants to join in. CC-NWS will
participate on 7.285 (40 meters) and 147.080 VHF. They have planned this event in
cooperation with ARRL South Texas Sector Chief Ray Taylor and SKYWARN.
