In January 1993 several Ham operators got together and formed the above Radio Club. After a lot of work and ideas we were able to put together a 2 meter Repeater and was on the air in about 6 months.  Our freq. is 145.430. It is on 24 hours a day. We also have a UHF Freq. of 444.425 and is owned and operated by Tom Korn W9ZJZ.

We have approximately 25 members now and would welcome any new members. Dues are low and we also have an auto patch on our repeater. It is a closed patch for "auto patch members" only, but any of us will give help if you need to use it.  We have a coffee break every Tuesday morning at about 8:30 to 10:00 at Hardee's Restaurant in Heber Springs, Arkansas. We welcome anyone to join us for coffee on Tuesdays. We also have an information net check-in on monday night at 7:00 pm on frequency 145.430 for general information, chit-chat and emergencies.   Oh by the way, if you like camping, boating, swimming, fishing, or water skiing, we have it all on the beautiful Greers Ferry Lake. If you are a trout fisherman we have that below the dam on the Little Red River. So come on and join us and bring your radios.   We will update this home page from time to time.

Please visit Presley Northcut's (N5JFO) page for HAM Information.
