Here are some photos from the August 18, 2004 Final Integration Meeting.

Payload Master Tony N5RPQ and George W5GFP make adjustments to the incredible new wing glider.
A close-up inside view of the APRS system in the wing glider for BLT-20. This system came from Tim's BLT gear.
Payload Master Mike WA5TWT and High Coordinator Andy W5ACM wonder why the main payload APRS gear is having problems hearing the GPS satellites...
"Wow! This is complex stuff!" Andy contemplates the interaction problems encountered when multiple transmitters and receivers are forced to operate in close proximity.
"OK 'JAR', hold that flashlight steady! We'll get this Lexus hotwired yet! Wait a minute... This is MY Lexus!"
Tony, 'JAR' and Andy continue work on the integration of the main payload for BLT-20.
It's happening! Andy, Tony and 'JAR' watch GREAT video coming from the main payload.
"Are all of these wires really necessary??"
Helium Man Charlie K5ENG is getting bored. Is it a lack of Helium?
Photo Master Pete KD5ELH gets the film ready for the 35-mm camera in BLT-20. Pete also took most of the pictures used on the BLT-20 website.
"Ah!! I Love Explosives! Charlie loads up the back-up wing-glider cut-down mechanism with an electric match and some old sparkler powder. If Charlie says it will work, it WILL WORK!!
The 35-mm camera and control circuitry are carefully mounted in the front cover of the main payload. This photo was taken prior to the application of many layers of duct tape.
Payload Master Tony finishes the wiring for the wing glider's APRS components. If this thing really flies, we are going to have a GREAT flight!
Wait a minute... I really don't think we can get a balloon large enough to fly THAT battery!! Tell me that this is only a test!!
Wups!! The meeting is over, but we still have a MESS in the main payload compartment!!
We finish the night with many things left undone. It looks like the Payload Decorating Party will turn into a Final Final Integration Meeting. More Work, but we never give up!!
Launch is scheduled for 10 AM on August 21, 2004 from the Wharton Regional Airport. Be There!!!
