Here are some photos from the May 26, 2004, BLT-20 planning meeting.

Core BLT members Mike WA5TWT, Pete KD5ELH, Randy KA5IIA, Charlie K5ENG, George W5GFP and Tony N5RPQ met to set meeting and launch dates, define project goals and decide on payloads for BLT-20. Photo by Andy W5ACM.

We lift the lid on BLT-19. It looks pretty good! A little cleanup, some updates, new stuff and decorations, and we'll be in business!

The back-up GPS system from BLT-19 looks good too. New batteries, and it will fly again!

Mellow George suggests redundant cut-down mechanisms for the Return of The Wing Glider.

Very Mellow Randy will be working with Ron AG5RS on UV detectors and a new radiation detection system. Randy promises to have it all ready in time for the construction meeting on June 30th.

Randy takes good notes. The schedule is set!! Mike WB5QCC called in to volunteer as FAA interface.

Extremely Mellow Pete dreams of crossband repeaters and the still camera experiment...

Not-So-Mellow Charlie wants to know what happened to the bottle of Helium, and just how big a charge we will need to provide a redundant cut-down for the Return of the Wing Glider. Randy gets another chip...

Our Construction Meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 30, 2004, at the Secret BLT Lab (310 Lombardy) in Sugar Land - 8 PM till 10 PM.

Launch is scheduled for 10 AM on August 21, 2004 from the Wharton Regional Airport. Be There!!!
