Here are some photos from the 15 August 2001 Integration Meeting.

"GPGGA GPRMC GPGSA - Huh? What? Can't we just send down some tones?" Andy W5ACM gets confused.

Howard AC5VF is just about done checking out the radiation experiment from BLT-17. Output is an interupted carrier on 28.322 MHz.

Dave WD8RZA enters the fray in the quest for the best Buffalo Wing.

Monitoring the TNC output on 440.950 MHz with the trusty old POQET PC.

"Gut em Danko!". Exposing the inards of the KPC-3 TNC and the Tokyo Hi-Power 70-cm HT to be used to downlink the GPS data from BLT-18. The modules are getting a bit "flight worn" and will need some cleanup in addition to reprogramming the TNC.

Wild Bill KD5IIU and Tony N5RPQ compare notes while Stuart Ross, Mike WB5QCC, John WA5TWT and Dave WD8RZA discuss other topics.

Still talking... Stuart, Mike, John and Dave.

THE SHAPE OF THINGS TO COME... Pay no attention to the folks around the table. The star of this shot from KD5IIU is the curious framework. Tony N5RPQ has begun crafting a new lifting body for a later balloon launch. The first one was crafted from foam. This one has a secure balsa framework that will be "skinned". BLT-19? We'll see...

The final Integration meeting will be held on Friday, August 22, 2001, at the Old Secret BLT lab in Sugar Land - 8 PM till midnight.

Launch is scheduled for 10 AM on August 25, 2001 from the Wharton Regional Airport. Be There!!!
