FARA Net Control Roster

FARA Net Preamble

QST, QST.  This is (callsign).  The Fauquier Amateur Radio Service Net is now open.  The Net meets each Wednesday at 9 PM local time on the W4VA repeater.

The W4VA repeater is operated by the Fauquier Amateur Radio Association.  The repeater has an input frequency of 147.765 MHz and an output frequency of 147.165 MHz with a tone of 167.9 Hz.

The association also operates a Packet Radio Digital Network including the FBBS9 Packet Radio BBS and FARA9 Packet Node on 145.09 MHz, and the FARA7 Packet Node on 145.07 MHz.
