| March 19-21 | VA QSO Party, Individual FARA competitions for club awarded prize. All scores should be officially submitted IAW contest rules. For inclusion of your scores in a total FARA score, be sure to identify your club affiliation as Fauquier Amateur radio Association, Warrenton VA. |
| April 14 | Monthly meeting program is "Echo Link", presented by Andy K1RA. |
| May 12 | Monthly meeting program to be presented by Chuck, N4YXW. The topic will be "Packet Radio and the FARA Packet System" |
| May 20-22 | Dayton Hamvention. Be there! |
| June 9 | Monthly meeting program is "Field Day Planning" discussion will be led by Harry, WB3BIC. |
| June 25-26 | Field Day at Crockett Park, Midland, VA- Be there…..or Harry will hunt you down!. |
| September 8 | Monthly meeting program is "Homebrew Contest" presentations and judging. Be there and be a participant. Contest Rules. |
| October 13 | Monthly meeting program is "Wire Yagis" to be presented by Neil, AB4YK. |
Meetings are held at 7:30 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month except for the months of July, August and December, at the SunTrust Bank in the Warrenton Center shopping mall at the junction of Winchester Road and Lee Highway (Business Route 17 and Business Route 29) in Warrenton, Virginia. All are welcome to attend.
The FARA Net is held each Wednesday at 9:00 p.m., local time, on FARA's 147.165(+) repeater. Any licensed amateur is welcome to participate.
An informal Association breakfast is held at 8:00 a.m. on the last Saturday of each month (year-round), at the Country Cooking restaurant, located on Rte. 211 in Warrenton, Virginia (same shopping center as Food Lion). If you're a member, or simply want to break bread with some radio enthusiasts, join us.
