Discussion
of Field Day points totaling 1095 points. Thanks go to Barry for filing the
paperwork for Shirley this year. Operating QRP with the bad band conditions did
not give us a huge amount of contacts, but everyone enjoyed themselves. There
were no expenses for food as each person donated what they brought.

Barry
added a calendar to the club websites.

A
motion was made by L.T. to donate $50.00 to the ‘Big Pine Athletic Association’
for our use of the park and its facilities during the year. 2nd by
Lynne-motion carried.
NEW
BUSINESS
·
Dean
reported on the status of the 442.400 repeater as probably being off the air as
the oscillation problem became worse and with George just returning to work
after his surgery and the fact that the tower is to be replaced soon it may be
down for awhile. L.T., Dean and Barry may do some work to link some machines
again in the near future.

Introduction
of our walk in guest-Alan-a member of the church just passing by.

Dean
reported his follies of contacting Representative Peter Deutsch.
·
Shirley
gave out information to the group about a 40 ft crank up tower for sale by Lou
Persons. It is on the ground and just needs picked up.
