  • The Key West Amateur Radio Club (KWARC) was formed in 1943, is affiliated with the American Radio Relay League (ARRL), and is the southernmost radio club in the Continental United States. You can view a history of the club here, compiled by Steve Godwin - KD1Z.  A picture of the 1949 club picnic held on Boca Chica Rd. is here, provided by Charlie Lowe - KB4SB.

  • Our club repeater frequency is 146.940 (no pl tone required), click on Repeaters for other Keys repeaters.  Some very entertaining history of the original club repeater, courtesy of  L.T., WA4JFJ, can be seen here.

  • Club membership dues are $15 per year from January through December with a reduced amount for the first year when a member joins after mid-year. Dues are waived for licensed amateur radio operators under the age of 18 years.  The club has averaged from 25 to 50 members each year, and we welcome new  members.

  • We sponsor or participate in many activities, click here for this years Fox Hunt/Field Day info, and click Activities  for other info.
