Howdy! I am Jim Clark W4HRT down here in Kingsport, TN. It seems like everybody who is anybody has a web site these days. I certainly do want to be somebody, so this here is the life, times and tall tales of senior citizen ham who has seen the world spin around more times than just a few.

I was born back in 1926 in the last house on a dirt road and never have gotten over it!

Times were hard and it was rough just getting by. When I was just a boy my old Pap told me that if I didn't straighten up, I wouldn't last till I got big enough to plow.

(My old Pap told me a lot of things!)

This was me at an early age, the young man who my late wife Harriet fell in love with when she was 17 years old. We lived together for 47 years.

Another thing old Pap always told me that you only need two or three good friends to get through this world and he was right - and I have found a bunch of good friends in Ham radio.

Whups! Sorry - Lets dog it off right there for now.

W4HRT's Guestbook

Sorry, but due to childish malicious updates the guestbook had to be removed.
When the pathetic people who did it go grow up, maybe I'll put it back again.
Isn't is a shame that some people have nothing more to do with their lives?

Whoa Nellie! How about this! visitors since 12/09/2002
