Testing Sessions

1st Saturday - 9:00 AM

Primary area served: South Atlanta and Clayton County, GA-Location: Clayton County Emergency Management Building 7946 N. McDonough Street Jonesboro, GA. Contact George White, KN4NG 404-361-6850

Directions: From I-75 South of Atlanta, take the Jonesboro Highway exit at Southlake. Go South on Jonesboro Highway for 2.5 miles; turn East on Highway 138. Go over the railroad tracks and the EM bldg is on the left under a large tower. The 145.17 repeater is available for talk in. Enlarged copies of exams are available for visually impaired applicants with prior notification to KN4NG

1st Tuesday - 7:30 PM

Testing is held in the Kroger at Cartersville at the rear of the store, upstairs in the conference room. All testing elements will be given. Testing will begin promptly at 7:30 PM. You should try to arrive at 7:00PM. The Kroger store is located at the corner of US41 and Main Street. If traveling I75, take exit 124.

Directions: Take exit 112 from I-75 north (3rd exit north of I-285). Go west on the South Loop (120 Loop - South Marietta Blvd) 3 miles to Powder Springs Road. Turn right and go 0.3 miles to 2nd light. Turn left onto GA 120 (Whitlock Ave.) Marietta First United Methodist Church is on that corner, immediately to your right after you make the turn onto Whitlock. Turn right (second drive way) into the parking lot behind the church. Enter church in the north-left-end of the "L" under the Methodist logo. Take elevator to the 3rd floor and go around to the right to room 305.

Directions: The Center is in the old Douglasville Hospital building. Turn east off of Fairburn Rd onto Courtland St (look for Gables Sporting Goods on west side and green DUI sign on east side of Fairburn Rd). Follow signs for Drivers License Testing. Doors open at 7:00 p.m

Turn left and go about 0.25 miles to first left, Tom Smith Road. Follow Tom Smith Road about 0.25 miles to church which is on the left. Take last driveway you see into parking lot. Exam session is in Adult Education Building room 103 downstairs. Headphones available for code test.

Directions: Exit I-75 at Northside Drive (exit 104 southbound, exit 104A northbound). Go south (toward downtown) on Northside Drive. Go through six sets of traffic lights (Bellemeade Ave., Deering Rd., Bishop Ave., Hemphill Ave., 14th Street, and 10th Street). Get into the left-hand lanes after crossing 10th Street and bear left onto Tech Parkway (unmarked). Turn left at the first light onto Regents Drive. Immediately turn right from Regents Drive onto Ferst Drive. Continue past a large parking garage on the left, then turn left into the Student Center parking lot. The Student Center is on the right as you pull into the parking lot.
