Welcome
to the Fists
Club of North Carolina.
As
a Part of the Fists International CW Club, we are happy to have a
member club now in North Carolina.
The
Club will be very informal and will not involve any “meetings” as clubs often
do. We will have the same goals and aspirations that the parent club has. At
some future time we may decide to have a get-together, but nothing is planned
at this point.
You
must become a member of the Fists International CW Club
prior to joining the Fists Club of North
Carolina. Only North Carolina residents are considered "Full-Members"
and are allowed to participate in club operating events. "Out of
state" members, while welcome and much appreciated, will be copied on
e-mails but are not allowed to participate in club operating events. Use of
club callsign, W4FFF, must be approved by the club
station trustee.
Because
most of our communication and coordination is via the Internet, it is essential
that each member have e-mail capability.
The
Fists Club of North Carolina plans to participate
in Fists International Events. One such event is the Fists Sprints held four
times each year. Another is the C2C event held annually and sponsored by The
New England and The Northwest Clubs.
Please
join us on the bands to promote the continuation of CW.
