Our Hamfest will be held on August 9th! Our Friends in Martin County will be offering a SKYWARN CLASS on August the 12th. (A Tuesday) At the Martin County EOC of Monterey Road, Room 225 The class will begin at 6:45 pm. The Fort Pierce Amateur Radio Club (Fort Pierce Saint Lucie County, Florida) is a general-purpose amateur radio club and its over 50 members are involved in all aspects of amateur radio. We make a special effort to participate in providing communications support for public service events, serving as Volunteer Examiners as part of the ARRL VEC program. CLUB 2 METER NET-TUESDAY 8:00 PM 147.345 (PL 107.2) Our Club meets on the second Wednesday of the month at the WQCS studios on the Main Campus of Indian River Community College (see map below) ***Please Note that our July Meeting will be held in the KSU Building instead of at WQCS. This is for July only.*** Testing The Fort Pierce Amateur Radio Club conducts Amateur Radio License Testing sessions the forth Wednesday evening of each month. The sessions are held at the WQCS studios in Building Q at Indian River Community College located in Fort Pierce on Virginia Ave, and start promptly at 7:30 PM (registration 7:15 PM). The cost, as specified by federal statute, is $14.00 per testing session. Talk-in is available on the club repeater, (147.345+ PL107.2 as needed). Directions can also be obtained by calling 772-462-4537 Our next Test Session will be held at the "Radio Station" at IRSC on July 23rd, 2008.
