Get Your Amateur Radio License in One Weekend!
The Sussex County Amateur Radio
Emergency Service will offer a Technician amateur radio license class on January
12&13, 2013, at Bethany Beach Fire Department on Route 1. The class is open
to anyone interested in obtaining an amateur radio (“ham”) license. Attendees must purchase and study a study guide
prior to the class. The classes will run from 8a.m. to 4p.m. on Saturday and
8:30a.m. to noon on Sunday ending with administration
of the FCC amateur radio license exam. There is no fee but there is a suggested
donation of $20.00 to cover expenses.
