VHFLOG - GenLog - KM Rover - Installation

When you click the link to the installation file, you are prompted to `Save` or `Run` the self-extracting file. Click `Run` to start the installation process, then follow the prompts. Usually ignoring any file registering problems due to sharing will still allow the software to install.

Not using IE...? When having problems installing software (another setup.exe is being run by the browser, maybe the last one you installed), do `Save` at the download prompt and put the install file in a temp folder or where you know how to get to it.

Run the Install file and it should install properly. Using the default folders for the logger will make it easier to download the updated logger, as the unzip archive will put the files in the default logging folder.

After getting the logger installed, download and install the latest program update to insure you have all the added functions and fixes that the full installed logger does not have. At any time in the future you can also get the updated logger if you want items described in the [NEW !] Revision history file.

If a shortcut was not made by the installer: make a shortcut to run the new application filename.

After installing a logger on your PC, you may update to the newest version at any time by just downloading and extracting the update files to the logging folder.

The programs` default paths and executable filenames are:
c:\vhflog32\vhflog32.exe
c:\genlog32\genlog326.exe
c:\kmrover32\kmrover32.exe

Copy (not move) NOTEPAD.exe from your Windows folder to your logging folder. This will provide a convenient auto-open of many files written by the logger.
