 W3HEM On Air Special Events

D-Day 2007. W3HEM will operate as W2W on frequencies of 7.244 and 14.244 (± QRM) MHz on Saturday, June 2 through Sunday June 10, 2007.

Pearl Harbor Day. W3HEM will operate as W2W on frequencies of 7.241 and 14.241 (± QRM) MHz on Saturday, December 1 through Sunday December 9, 2007. Look for us especially on Friday evening (EDT) December 7, and the December 8th and 9th weekend.

W3HEM Contesting

Field Day 2007. W3HEM will operate as 3A in the MDC section on Field Day, June 23rd and 24th, 2007. We are currently planning on a 80/40 meter CW station, a 80/40 meter phone station, a 20/15/10 meter phone/cw station, a V/UHF station and a GOTA station. We will have an APRS and a SSTV demonstration, and will hopefully handle traffic to/from W3AO again. We will be in the same location on Gary Mauler’s excellent property at 7553 Wigley Drive in Jessup, MD. This year we hope to not have the deluge of biblical proportions Saturday evening. We’re shooting for 1000 QSOs and 5000 points.

Hamfests

HEMARC may operate an equipment-testing table at the FARFEST, if there is one in 2007.
