Recently Shirley McCombs, KB3DTH, resigned as our club Secretary / Treasurer and I've been assuming those responsibilities.
I've learned a little about the job and I've come to appreciate the job Shirley did. I want to take this opportunity to express our appreciation to Shirley for her service to the club. Thanks Shirley !!!!
Congratulations to Rusty O'Donnell WB3EUQ, for having received the ARRL Atlantic Division's Certificate of Merit on October 15th. Rusty has not only been very dedicated to Amateur Radio, but to Indiana County radio communications in general.
Our ham fest was a pretty good success thanks to Bill Menk, W3LAB, who spear headed the event. Thanks also to all who participated and to those who attended. Thanks all !!
The 2006 nominations are scheduled for our November 1st meeting, with elections December 6th. If you're interested in any of the club offices for next year, please let us know.
Robert Zugates, KB3JOF, has put our 2006 membership applications on our web site in three different formats; pdf, html and Microsoft Word. I've also distributed the application as a Microsoft Word attachment to those 30 some club members for which I have an E-mail address. We'll also make some copies available at the November and December meetings for those not having internet access.
Please complete the application and forward it to Kim Frech, our secretary / treasurer, when paying your dues. We'd like to have as complete a record as possible. Thanks for your cooperation!
Kim will be the only one accepting dues, please keep this in mind. Your 2006 club identification card will be your receipt.
Our Christmas party is scheduled for 6:00 PM December 11th at Hoss's in Indiana.
