OLD BUSINESS:

FUND RAISER:    Carl N3PIE
The fund raiser night fell on the meeting day of Feb 3. We had a good turn out and want to thank everyone for their work and interest. The Hoss's manager called the next day and said that we had 26 in attendance for the meals.
  Carl N3PIE was in charged of the fund raiser tickets and arranging the taking care of the details for the meeting and meals. Want to thank Carl for his time and efforts.
   
Darrel WA3AJQ
  Darrell is doing very well. He return home in the middle of last week. It is going to be a few weeks before he is completely recovered.. Keep Darrell in your prayers and give him a call on the radio or phone. He hopes to be back for the Saturday morning breakfast and see you at the next meeting. He want to say hello and Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.
   
Fox Hunt:
  Fred KM3M is to ask Gregg for the fox transmitter.
  In April, we are planning for a fox hunt. For the March meeting, we may have an antenna discussion on the different types for the hunt.
  A motion was carried by Dave N3DZ to have the fox hunt on March 15, 2009 at 1330 hrs. More details at the March meeting.
  The motion was 2nd by Larry N3LT.

NEW BUSINESS :

APRIL 2009 MS WALK
  Rusty WB3EUQ has excepted to organize the walk.
  The walk will be on 19th of April. More details to be announced at the April meeting.
   
VE TESTING  Bill McMillen N3QM
  Please contact Bill N3QM If you are going to test. For an upgrade or for the first time. MORE DETAIL IN MARCH
   
MAY 2009 TORRANCE WALK
  (HAS BEEN CANCELLED LAST 3 YRS)
  JERRY WB3DUD WILL CHECK WITH TORRANCE TO SEE IF THERE WILL BE A WALK THIS YEAR.
   
JUNE 26 THRU 28 2009 ARRL FIELD DAY
  SETUP WILL BE ON FRIDAY NIGHT / PICNIC ON SATURDAY NITE
  DAVE N3DZ WOULD LIKE TO SEE THE LOGGING BE RECORDED ON LAB TOPS CPU.
  Dave will demo the software in how to use it for field day.
  We need some one to forward the paper work to the ARRL….
  WE NEED A CHAIRMAN TO ORGANIZE THE EVENT.
SEPT: CLUB PICNIC
  We need a chairperson to head up the picnic and also need a place and date to be selected.
Ham Fests:
  CASTLE SHANNON IS HAVING A HAM FEST ON FEB 22,2009 AT THE CASTLE SHANNON V.F.D. TIME FROM 0800HRS TO 1500 HRS.
   
The 50/50 raffle :
  It was won by Jim N3TQR
   
NEXT MEETING NIGHT :
  THE NEXT MEETING NIGHT WILL BE MARCH 3 rd.
THE BOARD MEETING AT 7 PM AND 7:30PM FOR THE CLUB MEETING.
WHERE: EAT & PARK IN INDIANA.
