Atlantic Division News Update
May 6, 2007
Bulletin 2007-04
Survey Program
We've added survey software to better understand Atlantic Division member views. We plan on doing frequent surveys to get member's viewpoints on various topics. Results from these surveys will be an important source of information used in representing the Atlantic Division membership.
To make sure that no one votes more than once, the survey will ask for your email address. Please use your ARRL.NET address as only email addresses with ARRL.NET as the domain will be counted in the survey.
All other email domains, including ARRL.ORG, will be excluded. The survey site will send you a confirmation email with a URL that you can click on, or a code that you can enter on the survey site to validate your answers.
If you are an ARRL member and do not have your ARRL.NET email address, you can activate it by going to the following URL:
http://www.arrl.org/members-only/memdata.htmll?modify=1 Then click on modify Member Data. The member email option should be at the bottom of the page.
The first survey is available for member's responses, and will be available through June 30, 2007 at 23:59 local time.

It may be a little early however!
Before we know it 2007 will soon be half over and we need to start thinking about club officers for next year. I'm afraid we'll be looking for a president, vice president and secretary, so please start giving this some serious consideration.
=============================================================
I want to personally thank Jerry Kiehl, WB3DUD, for presiding over the last three club meetings for me; for volunteering to be Vice President this year in the absence of Rusty O'Donnell, WB3EUQ and for volunteering to coordinate the Monday night ARES nets. Thanks Jerry !!

Thanks and 73's,

Emergency Coordinator: Robert Zugates, KB3JOF
We received two formal messages from Kent Badger, N3KB, Monday 5/14/07, one to Penn Run and one to Homer City. Thanks to Jerry Kiehl, WB3DUD, for his much needed help in receiving these messages.
Darrell, WA3AJQ, received a message from Kent Badger, N3KB, on Monday 5/21/07, to Gregory A. Lieb, KB3PCS in Penn Run.
Bill Menk brought it to our attention at a Saturday breakfast that the messages refer to the ARRL numbered radiograms.
Robert would like to establish some practice messages among ourselves for much needed experience.
He also mentioned he invited Kent Badger, N3KB to one of our meetings.
Net Coordinator: Jerry Kiehl, WB3DUD (Not at Meeting)
