=========================================================

Our Christmas party is scheduled for 6:00 PM Sunday December 10th at Hoss's in Indiana. We have about twenty five people signed up to attend. The club agreed to invite non members to the party this year.

We want to express our thanks to Roger and Kathy Lute for their having planned this event again this year.

=========================================================

Again I want to thank all our members that participated in the clubs various activities this past year. I especially want to thank those who served as officers, Web Master, Trustee and our ARES Net Coordinator.

Thanks to those who supported our club financially, without your support we wouldn't exist.

=========================================================

I hope we can increase our membership in 2007. If you know of anyone that might be interested in joining our club, please don't hesitate to invite them to our meetings.

=========================================================

I'm looking forward to an exciting 2007.

Presidents Annual Report: Darrell Norris, WA3AJQ

In accordance with our club by-laws, ARTICLE EIGHT: DUTIES OF OFFICERS; SECTION 1; PRESIDENT; Darrell submitted the following:

=========================================================

All club meetings were held at Eat- N-Park in Indiana. The Board meetings were scheduled for 7:00 pm with the general meetings at 7:30 pm. Meetings were held on the first Tuesday of each month except the July 4th meeting was moved to Wednesday, July 5th because of the holiday.

=========================================================

The club participated in the following activities: MS Walk on April 23rd; Torrance Walk on May 13th; ARRL Field Day, June 24th and 25th; Club picnic, September 24th; VE testing session, October 7th; Multi county breakfast, October 21st and the club Christmas party is scheduled for December 10th. We had our club breakfasts at Eat-N-Park on Saturday mornings and Wednesday Hot Dog nights at the repeater site.

=========================================================

We had a Sheetz coupon sale again this year.

==============================================================

We mailed one hundred eighty four (184) invitations to local licensed radio amateurs, asking them to join our club or consider contributing something towards the operation of our repeater. We had twenty eight invitations returned, three were deceased, and the rest were wrong addresses. Out of all this, we gained two new members.

=============================================================

For the first time, we held a multi county social breakfast on October 21st at Eat' N Park here in Indiana. There were twenty four (24) people in attendance; Two (2) from Butler; Two (2) from Armstrong; One (1) from Cambria; One (1) from Westmoreland and Eighteen (18) from Indiana.

=============================================================

We now have both our meeting nights and Saturday morning breakfasts advertised in the Indiana Gazette.

=============================================================

The treasury was consistent with previous years.

=========================================================

Out of forty nine members, we've averaged about twelve to fifteen members attending the regular monthly meetings.

==============================================================

Non - club activities were: A mini field day held on September 16th at the repeater site, in which a number of members participated. Also there were fifteen (15) people ate dinner and attended an organ concert in Dormont, December 2nd.

==============================================================

Some disappointments were; Not having a ham fest; having very few volunteers for Monday night net control operators; still not having an ARES Emergency Coordinator; not having more members attend the monthly meetings and the lack of cooperation in establishing the 2007 club nomination list.

==============================================================

Lets all work together to make 2007 an even better year.

Darrell extended his appreciation to all who participated in the various activities and to those who served as officers during 2006.

He also thanked those who supported the club financially through dues etc. He noted without their help the club wouldn't exist.

================================================
