MURS comprises the following five frequencies:

Channels 1-3 use "narrowband" Frequency Modulation (2.5 kHz deviation).
Channels 4 and 5 use "wideband" FM (5 kHz deviation).
MURS falls under part 95 and is not mandated for narrow banding such as those of part 90 in the public service bands by January 2013.

Power limit is 2 watts.  Simplex only.

GMRS
The General Mobile Radio Service (GMRS) is a North American land-mobile FM UHF radio service designed for short-distance two-way communication. It requires a license in United States.
This first set of frequencies shows the split frequency pairs used in duplex operational mode, often used with repeaters.

CTCSS TONE FREQUENCIES

The purpose of CTCSS is to reduce co-channel interference during band openings. CTCSS repeaters would respond only to signals having the CTCSS tone required for that repeater. These repeaters would not respond to distant weak signals on their inputs and would not repeat those signals.
