No matter what country youre from, what license class
you hold or if you are even a ham...yet. I want to thank
you for stopping by and checking out my website. Although we
have many names, we face a list of new names and calls
everyday when we flip the big switch on the wall. We challenge
ourselves by putting new names with calls signs and sometimes
we get the chance to match the call with a face and a
handshake. It's important and exciting to get a clearer
understanding of other people, from next door, to around the
world and learn what is important to them. That
knowledge might just give us the enough to understand
some of their strengths, interests and desires. It might also
help us to appreciate a bit more of their home life and
understand why things are the way they are in different
cultures and countries.
Here you
will find some ideas and projects that I have dabbled in from
the very simple to the more comprehensive. Learning is all
about borrowing ideas, and I would give credit if I remembered
where or from whom they originally came (some ideas actually
are mine), but now any suggestions found here are yours too.
Each idea can give you insight into who I am and possibly
spark a new idea or build onto something that you find here.
And if you can improve on something I have been working on,
don't hesitate in dropping me an email. I do hope you find

Hello...My name is George
Saliba and I was
born in Brooklyn, New
York, USA in 1955. Grew
up in Long Island and still
live here today.
I
started in Amateur Radio by first listening to Shortwave until
I received my first License in 1999, took the Novice exam and
passed no problem. My instructor Bob from the Novice Class I had
taken was there and congratulated me on a job well done. In
the same breath he said why don't you take the Tech exam too.
So with a little encouragement from Bob, I did, and guess what, I passed
that one too. So then I became KC2EUK. Since then I have made
General and requested a vanity call and became
W2VQY.
I work mostly, phone and PSK31. But I tinker
around in all modes at one time or another. I have to say I do
learn a lot from a friend of mine, Tony, AB2CJ, now K2MO. K2MO has been
a great help to a group of us here in the New
York area. My hat's off to ya
