Our Next Meeting:  Friday  September 14, 2001   8 PM
At  Wantagh Public Library

Yes the Wantagh Library WILL again be available for this Friday’s meeting. Roof repairs were again delayed later this month.  Once again I have no guest speaker scheduled at this time.  If I do not arrange  a guest presenter then I will bring down the videotape "Empire of the Air" and will show the second hour if any members want to see it.

I attended the Club President's Meeting on August 12 at Babylon Town Hall and I will be reporting on it at this friday's meeting.

The work on a code/theory class for this Fall is on hold due to low interest.  However if any members are interested in attending classes please note that LIMARC and Great South Bay ARC are sponsoring classes this Fall.  You can access their web sites through our Wantagh Web Site Page  http://www.qsl.net/w2va  and press "other links" or http://www.qsl.net/w2va/other.htm.

Our club web site also has an updated look as well as some new links for Freeware Programs.  Frank N2RSO has  also updated the latest ARRL Bulletins for the site.
