Welcome to my Home Page. My name is Tom Baustert and the QTH is Rome New York. In 1954, at the age of 13, I received my first amateur radio license and the call sign WN3ZQT. Later I was issued W3ZQT, DL4OI and WB2HTV. The WB2 call was issued as an additional call sign and in 1966 when I moved to my current QTH I was issued the callsign W2HEO. I currently have an Amateur Extra Class Ham License along with a Commercial General Radiotelephone Operators License with Radar Endorsement. I previously held a First Class Radiotelephone License with Radar Endorsement.
My primary interest in ham radio is chasing and sometimes even catching DX. My country total now is at 292 worked and 284 confirmed and I'm patiently waiting for the Sunspot Cycle to improve.
