My name is Wes Jones and I live in a small city in Upstate/Central New York State – Norwich. I have been a licensed ham since 1993, starting with the callsign N2WPW.

In 2002 I got vanity callsign W2EMO (Emergency Management Office). This relates to my involvement in emergency/disaster preparedness. I am the director of the Norwich Emergency Management Office (part-time job) and a full-time 911 dispatcher with the Chenango County Emergency Communications Center. I am also an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and a member of the Norwich Fire Department.
