Minutes of the Meeting, 9/30/98

BUSINESS:

Dr. Volts: Everything set. UUP still needs to be filed.
Appreciation for Steve Powell: Suggestions were made for a possible gift:

1. Plaque with Vaccum Tube
2. "Key" Plaque
3. Dinner Certificate

Jamboree on the Air: September 17. Up to 20 scouts could attend. Food will be provided. We will need extra class operators.
Contests: Big effort planned for CQ WW DX (SSB), October 24 & 25. Need advanced and extra class licensees. Food?

1. 11/7 - ARRL November Sweepstakes (CW)
2. 11/23 - ARRL November Sweepstakes (SSB)
