into bite sized pieces and a new and improved version is on the drawing board.

I hope everyone had a good holiday in spite
of the cold and the snowy weather. Speaking of the cold and snow it’s time for
Boy Scouts’ Klondike Derby. The date is
January 20th. We need an operator for each town and two for HQ. If
you can only spend part of the day that’s OK. Nick will work with you.
See Nick, KC2EVJ at the January meeting or
e-mail at nv3@sprintmail.com or myself at WB2NQV@arrl.net.
The other confirmed dates
for the year 2001 are; Bucks County Horse Park May 19, Special Equestrian June
16, Lebanon Parade July 4, Bucks County Horse Park August 12, October 7 and
November 10 and 11. More when we have confirmed dates. We
had a very sucessful year in 2000 so

AREA REPEATER MAP INFO NEEDED
de KC2CXH
Some time ago, I started a project to create
a topographic map of the Lehigh Valley area showing the locations of the
various repeaters and their height. I'm using Delorme topoquads software to put
the map together. With this software, you can create "line-of-sight"
maps that are interesting and useful for determining shadow areas for a
particular repeater. I started this project with the W2CRA system, but got
sidetracked when we moved to Bucks County several months ago, but I still want
to get the map done and publish it on my ham radio web site (www.qsl.net/kc2cxh).
If anyone could forward me via email the specific latitude, longitude and
height above local ground of any repeaters and related remote receive sites you
know of (not just CRA), I'll add them to the map. I plan to cover a 50 mile
radius of the area, centered on the bridge between Frenchtown, NJ & Tinicum
PA.
thanks
