There are three pictures on this page of a solid brass telegraph key that I recently obtained. I'd like to learn more about this key.

Does anyone know anything about this key?

...how old is it?...who made it?...is it popular/rare/collectable/junk/etc.?

Here's what I've found out so far (thanks Tom, W1TP)... It is a Standard Signal Electric Co. Spark Key, made between 1919 and the 1930's. I'm still debating whether I should buff it out to its natural brass finish.

If you can add any information, please EMAIL me!

It appears to be made of solid cast, then machined brass with the exception of the pivot pin which is likely mild steel (as it is showing a little rust). The pictures are reasonably accurate for color and condition (it needs cleaning up).
