Ham since 1948 - started as oz9o in Copenhagen, Denmark, which is still an active callsign. Extra license was received for w1ys in Boston in 1975, when I became active again. W1YS is a venerable old call sign from the 1920s. It used to belong to the Boston Radio Club. I worked from Boston with a three element monobander for 20 meter until 1987, when I was transferred to Washington, DC. Since then my antenna capabilities have been poor until now where I have 2 acres with nice big trees and also room for a tower and beam. I am very active in the cw portions of the higher bands. Electronic QSL card can be found at www.qslcard.com. A simple, free registration will permit entry to the web site. My Business Web Page: http://www.hlotelecom.us
W1YS is located in Eastern Pennsylvania near New Hope, PA.
