LAST UPDATE: JUNE 29, 2003

Hi Guys,
This is not an official SARC letter.  These are my
personal views and opinions.

I think that Dave Arruzza, W1CTN, did an excellent
job in organizing and implementing the clubs Field Day
participation.  He made the required organizational
layout, constructed and installed two antennas.
(160,80, 40 Windom & 40 dipole)and picked up all the
food and refreshments.  He supervised the installation
of the three operating positions and made certain the
necessary computers were operating correctly.  He then
put in hours of operating and took the time to
instruct our Technician licensees in the proper use of
HF frequencies on Field Day operations. Bob Giuliani
had brought his entire station to the club for use as
one of the three positions. Bob had to leave before we
shut down so Dave loaded all Bob's equipment into his
own car and delivered it to Bob's home.  This was
literally a "One Man Show" with a little bit of help
from Bob Giuliani, Bob Betts, Chester Malinowski,
Charlie Kazian, Al Thorpe and Ted Kaszuba.

I just had to write this letter after watching Dave in
action yesterday.  I think he is a reincarnated 1950's
ham.

73 guys and those who were not there missed a great
club Field day.

God Bless

Ted  W1ZQT
