As I mentioned in the About Me page, I got the radio I had dreamed about in January 2007, which is a Kenwood TS-2000 seen in the picture above. I am on a fixed income and at the time this radio sold for about $1600. I got an unexpected blessing and was able to go and bring it home, along with the D7A handheld, the MC60, the antennas, everything! The whole station came at one time in a ton of boxes!

Check Link Status

My simplex EchoLink node operates on a primary frequency of 147.420 with a secondary UHF frequency for control purposes. The link covers approximately 20 miles. Stations on the RF side have checked in from Wells, North Berwick, and Kennebunk Maine. Power out is 50 watts. Below are the DTMF commands that you can use on the RF side.

06             plays current link status if link is up.
18             Random Link
17             Random Repeater
16             Random Conference Server.
19             Random Computer User
29+node    Disconnect from node number
03            Disconnect from most recent connection/transmission.
10            Disconnect from all connections
