I was born on August 23rd 1968 to parents John & Sherri Biasin in Natick MA. I was born and still am legally blind due to an optic nerve that never developed fully. I moved to Sanford Maine when I was 3 and then to Shapleigh Maine at the age of 10. My mom, Sherri Clark, still has the farm house in Shapleigh. The following picture of my mom's house was taken at Christmastime in 2005. Lights were hung by my uncle Steve Larson.

When I was very young I started to have an interest in music and started taking piano lessons when I was almost 11.  I have since picked up the guitar, accordion, flute, and a little mandolin. I play keyboard and sing backup at my Church.

I got my first CB set in 1987 from my grandmother on my mom's side. She told me back then about ham radio and had an interest in it but never took the plunge to get her license. I got a great deal of enjoyment from the CB and in February 1989 I took my Novice 5WPM morse code test and written test. I passed and received my first call sign which I kept for 14 years. That was KA1TJR. I got my general in '96 and in 2003 got the vanity call that I have today which is my initials Michael W. Biasin. I got my dream radio seen above in the first picture, the Kenwood TS-2000 in 2007 and have had fun running cross band repeat as well as sky command. Now I also use it as my link radio with a 2m and 440 frequency.

I have been a christian since age 13 and attend a pentecostal church. I beleive Jesus came and walked among us, taught us about the father, and died to take the penalty of our sins. I beleive that the Holy Spirit still moves today as He did in Acts. I am filled with the Spirit, speak in tongues, operate in the gift of prophecy, and have seen people healed through being prayed for.
