Frame-off custom rebuild by W0VMC. PR 4-400C's modulated by a pair of 4-400C's. RF deck uses very heavy duty motor driven inductor to facilitate easily tuning 160-20m.

RF deck uses very heavy duty motor driven inductor to facilitate easily tuning 160-20m. Modulator has a modified MOD reactor scheme. Audio is generated outboard with a broadcast category microphone input.

The matching receiver is a W0VMC customized R390A fed into an outboard audio amp/speaker combination

To the right is a Collins 30K1 transmitter. Only 150 made in 1946. Uses a 4-125A modulated by a pair of 100TH's. Highly collectible. Next to it is a matching 310A exciter and 75A1 receiver.

W0XV Modern Shack

On the other side of the shack are two modern rigs that I use for DX'ng and ragchewing. An FT-1000MP MK5 drives an Alpha 87A. And an IC-756 PRO-II drives a PW-1 solid state KW. Both amplifiers sit on the shelf since they are no tune.
