Amateur Radio Education Alliance (A.R.E.A.) Founded in 1997, the AREA's mission statement is: "A specialized organization focused on building a positive public and governmental value perception of the Amateur Radio Service. This will be accomplished by producing relevant educational materials and programs for the Amateur community. These programs and materials are designed to raise the operating skill levels of Amateurs to the high standards of excellence needed and expected by current public and emergency management agencies. Members of the AREA are offered multiple channels for communicating their views on issues of the day, and can expect honest and open dialog and representation of the concensus of the AREA."

American Radio Relay League - ARRL If you are a member, or potential member, of the American Radio Relay League, this is the site for you. Almost anything related to the League and its involvement with Amateur Radio can be found here. Most pages are text only, but are filled with lots of valuable information.

Atlanta Radio Club (ARC) The oldest, and one of the biggest Ham Radio clubs in metro-Atlanta. The ARC is the host of the yearly Atlanta HamFestival. ARC members continually strive to maintain a technical excellence both on and off the air.

Big Shanty Repeater Group The Big Shanty Repeater Group is one of the most technically active ham radio groups in Atlanta. This page will tell you a bit about who they are, but mostly what areas of Amateur Radio they are currently into. If you want more information, you'll have to contact the club, it's not on-line.

Boston Amateur Radio Club (BARC) This is the grandaddy of them all when it comes to ham radio clubs on-line. The site is chock full of information about the club, its activities, and people associated with the club. Even the club newsletter is on-line, and it's up-to-date. More clubs should follow this example.

CTRI Contest Group Home Page CTRI stands for Connecticut/Rhode Island, and this home page contains great links to information about the club, WA1QXR's SAREX classroom, the AMSAT area coordinator, towers and antennas, webpages, pictures and bios of some of the club members, a membership roster, a list of some up-coming events, and A.R.E.S. information. There are also links to CTRI newsletters.

Millikan High School's Amateur Radio Emergency Communication Home Page AREC stands for Amateur Radio Emergency Communications. This page is to tell you all the information on AREC Millikan. AREC Millikan was started at the beginning of the 1999 school year. Millikan High school is located in Long Beach California. Millikan is currently the largest school in Long beach with over 4400 students currently attending school. There are two hams who attend Millikan. Tommy KD6ENO and Robert KF6YGY.

North Fulton Amateur Radio League (NFARL) Here is information about one of the premiere Ham clubs in the metro-Atlanta area. Pat Patterson has done a fine job of capturing, on-line, the spirit of the NFARL. This is definitely worth a "look-see".

Northern Berkshire Amateur Radio Club (NoBARC) This club site has really grown in the past few months, and is really worth a "look see". You can get information about NoBARC, check for call signs, and get great info on Amateur Radio. They are really trying hard to be the best club, and best site, they can be. Our hats off to the great folks at NoBARC.

Royal Air Force Amateur Radio Society Mike Stanway has put together a home page for the RAFARS. This organization works mostly on 6 meters, and mounts DXpeditions for 6 meter contacts. Check this site to see where they are off to next.

TECHNET TECHNET is an outstanding Ham resource site sponsored by the Amateur Radio Transmitting Society of Louisville. Bill (KE4SGV), Geoffrey (AE4RV), and Andrew (KO4KU) work hard to maintain the purpose and charter of TECHNET, which is: "To give an opportunity for all hams to 'Elmer' others based on their individual experience and collective wisdom."
