Welcome to the webpage of the Centerville Area Amateur Radio Club! The club is a group of Amateur (Ham) Radio operators in and around the Centerville, Iowa area. We hold meetings the third Sunday of every month at the Mystic, Iowa bingo hall at 1:00 PM. Anyone who wants to attend is more than welcome to! If you need directions, feel free to   and ask!

     The club will also provide VE testing sessions if someone wishes to take their initial test or wants to upgrade. For more information on that, see the testing page.

     On the last full weekend of June the club participates in the ARRL Field Day, a nationwide contest to test emergency preparedness and communication skills. This is an excellent time to see what amateur radio is all about! Guest operators are always welcome, licensed or not. (A license is not needed as there is a licensed ham observing your actions and advising you.) The location where the club operates changes from year to year, so check here often to see the details.
