CLUB NET :
The club net is held on Wednesday night at 8:30 PM on 147.165 +

CLUB DUES :
Dues for year  2ØØ1 are $10.00 for an individual and $15.00 for a family.
Dues paid after June 30th are half price till October at which time the dues go
back to full price but are good through the following year.

CLUB MEETING :
The Heartland A.R.C.meets on the second Thursday of the
month at  6:30 P.M. at McFarland's Restaurant at  4133 SW Gage Center Dr.

Heartland Amateur Radio Club  meeting on 9 November 2000
Meeting was called to order, followed by a round of introductions.

Secretary's report was read and accepted.

Treasurer's report was read.  Balance was $64.55, and no deposits or
expenditures since the last meeting.  The report passed.

Old Business:

Nominations for 2001 Officers will be at the December meeting.

Scott NØXF also thanked the club for the help with both the CROP walk and
Alzheimer's Assn walks.

The club's repeater antenna is still on top of the Pauline Co-Op, along
with 75 ft of 7/8" heliax that needs to be retrieved at some point.

New Business:

The heartland SiteRing  has 30 club web sites on it and is going well.

Proposed amendment to the bylaws:
Any person having an interest in amateur radio is eligible to become an
associate member, but shall not be entitled to vote for club officers, nor
hold office.

Test Session, Nov 10th 7pm at the Kansas State Bank in Overbrook.

At this point the meeting was adjourned.

Heartland Amateur Radio Club meeting on  14 December 2000

The meeting was called to order by Jerry KØJAL.

Minutes of the previous meeting were read.  Motion was made to accept the
minutes, and that passed.

Treasurer's report:
$64.55 as of last meeting, no expenditures, $15.00
deposit from the donation can, leaving a balance going into the December
meeting of $79.55.  A motion was made to accept the treasurer's report, and
that passed.

Old Business:  none.

New Business:

Second reading of Terry NØWNT's proposed by-law change.  The by-laws was
amended to include a reduced dues rate for associate members.   The
amendment passed.  Motion was made to accept the new by-law with the
amendment, and that passed as well.  The new by-laws is as follows:

Any person having an interest in amateur radio is eligible to become an
associate member, but shall not be entitled to vote for club officers, nor
hold office.  Associate member dues will be 50 percent of the rate for
regular member dues for a full year.

Nomination were held for year 2001 officers.

for Vice-President / Treasurer:  Deb Mannell KCØFFQ

The amateur radio club's SiteRing is going well.  So far 36 clubs are on the
ring, and there have been 1015 referrals to the WØHRC web site.
