The Feb. 8, 2001 meeting of the Heartland Amateur Radio Club was called to order at 6:55 by Jerry KØJAL. There were eight members present. The secretary's report was read by Todd KØKAN. Motion was made by Deb KCØFFQ to accept the report and was seconded by Terry NØWNT. Treasurer's report:
Deb KCØFFQ read the treasurer's report: As of the January meeting, the balance in the checking account was $168.55. After deposits of $74.00, the balance at the February meeting was $242.55. Terry moved to accept the report and was seconded by Matt KCØFFP. Old Business:

Scott NØXF reported that probable events for the year would be the MS walk held in the Spring, the Alzheimer Association walk at the end of Sept, and the CROP walk which tends to be the weekend after the Alzheimer's walk. The subject of field day came up, which should be June 22 & 23. Some club members have visited the BARCBADS site at Lake Perry. Todd suggested State Lake if our club wants to try putting a site together. Terry suggested considering a spring picnic with the Meriden Club and reminded everyone that they have a net every Thurs at 9PM on 146.835, followed by a 10m net. Jerry announced the 75th anniversary of KVARC, which will be Oct 26 & 27. Terry suggested the club make it's annual donation of $10.00 for support to maintain the club's web site. Todd moved to accept the idea and was seconded my Matt. The 2001 E-board was selected: Marge NØXFL, Terry NØWNT,and Todd KØKAN. Nets:

The club net is held on Wednesday night at 8:30 PM on 147.165 + CTCSS PL Tone 192.8 CLUB DUES :
Dues for year 2ØØ1 are $10.00 for an individual and $15.00 for a family. Dues paid after June 30th are half price till October at which time the dues go back to full price but are good through the following year. For associate members $5.00 a year. CLUB MEETING :
