Through a MOU with BCARES, BARC helps during the first 24 hours of any large emergency in Boulder County to handle any health and welfare emergency traffic.
BCARES serves all of Boulder (and Broomfield) Counties, providing many modes of communication to local groups during special events, disasters, and emergency services.
BCARES even provides live ATV to Colorado University safety officials during their home football games at Folsom Field, allowing BCARES members to receive plenty of practice in NCS and ATV disciplines under real situations.
This practice helps make BCARES a more effective response group when emergency conditions arise.
