hello,

We have a stackup that really can't afford an adjacent power/ground
configuration, but we have a pwr-sig-gnd that only separates the pwr and gnd
by 10mils.

My question is, do we still reap the benefits of the adjacent plane when we
have a signal layer in between them?

(before answering with a quick no, keep in mind that a classic adjacent
pwr/gnd plane has 100's of metal canisters, also called vias, going through
these 2 planes.)
