Corrections and Addenda to August 1972
CQ Article
First, excuse the "mHz" use vs the more-acceptable "MHz"!
The mid-December meteor shower is, of course, the Geminids, not the Ursids
(which is about a week later).
Judging by the strength of later 3Es events to KH6, the November 1970 was
most likely one-hop Es into an existing F2 path.
WAØEKO assisted by making extensive computer plots/transparencies from my
digital matrix data sheets for the diurnal Es variations.
My address given in the article was only a transitory PO Box used during the
move to this current QTH and was closed out by the end of that summer.
The following are tables that were made up for but not used in the final
version of the article.

The slight distance change for most of 1967-1969 (i.e., Austin)
seemed to adversely affect the 2Es to W1 while putting more of
PA and MD into single-hop range. The intra-Texas Es paths were
usually to El Paso, Amarillo, and (rarely) Lubbock.

XE1 is in the 700-mile range so represents fairly short skip.
The XE2 activity in this period came from San Luis Potosi and
not the Baja region so was even closer.

And, now for some really heavy numeric statistics, day counts with
50-MHz Es minutes in ranges. The % is relevant to days with events,
not to the total days in the study. An ongoing event that extended
beyond midnight CST will cause a "new" day to be counted.
