The tech people (George, Eric) determined that my account was suspended and transferred me to customer support (Sonja in KC, MO). Thanks for calling. Goodbye." End Result: A self-install kit will be sent, with U-Verse activation on Tuesday (9-11 am), which may be done at a distant terminal vs the Network Interface on the rear of the house. If the self-install kit doesn't require me to switch to Cat5 cable vs 4-wire phone line then I wont have to "excavate" to get to that inside portal (not visited in YEARS). My e-mail was restored, but anything that was sent Mar 30 thru to this point was bounced and is lost. Some of the places that I am subscribed to may have automatically unsubscribed me because of that, requiring me to possibly resubscribe. All somewhat like blackmail from those nefarious bas***ds. If I hadn't 19 YEARS invested in the e-mail address I likely would have told them to shove it and found another ISP.
