| HAMFEST INDIA is a Festival of Hams conducted every year in different Cities and towns across India for the last 12 years to promote HAM RADIO AWARENESS as well as the new technological skills in the field of Communications. Centenary of Ham Radio is being celebrated all over the world, at the same time India celebrated 75 years of Ham activity . India has over 16000 Hams, while maximum hams are home-brewers from Andhra Pradesh and is aptly called the HOME-BREW CAPITAL OF INDIA. This gives our ANDHRA a Golden opportunity to host the HAMFEST INDIA 2007 to promote the wonderful hobby of self training in communication and to bring new technological skills and trends within the reach of the common man and for the advancement of our country |
