Modification :

I have included a Opto coupler in series with the led for the purpose of switching the PTT. This allows the PTT to be automatically switched when SW2 is pressed. In practical use I have omitted the 8E resistor on pin #14 of the IC. I intend using a transformer across pin # 13 & 14 for isolation purpose and impedance matching. I have also designed the same application using APR9600 IC , details of which I would be posting shortly. A basic application project for the APR9600 appears under the heading of "Single Chip Voice Recording / Playback (60 Sec)"
