The vacation at HOME turned to be a MileStone when I first made my  "Table Top"  Pocket Radio.

I was a Cricket fan those days, when most of my classmates had a Pocket Radio to listen to the Commentary

Unfortunately I did not have one, my request of a pocket Radio was turned down by my Mom ,

She challenged me if  you want,  MAKE it.

It took me more than a  year or so to gather books & components, which at time were rarely available.

It was one of the  happiest moments in my life when my Pocket Radio which I claim " 8' x 10' inches" came

to life, with the local Broadcast  sounding through the speakers.
